Something not working, or not behaving the way you expected?

What to include in a bug report
Your iPhone model and iOS version, what you were converting (format and rough size), the
preset or settings you used, and what you expected versus what happened. A screenshot of the
confirmation or result screen is worth more than a paragraph — it carries the numbers.
Purchases
- I bought Pro and it is gone after reinstalling.
- Settings → Restore Purchases. Pro Lifetime is tied to your Apple ID and
returns on any device signed in to it. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID you
bought with — a different one will find nothing, and that is Apple's rule, not ours.
- How do I cancel Pro Annual?
- iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Sizera → Cancel Subscription. Apple processes the
subscription, so the app has no cancel button of its own. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you
keep Pro until the period you already paid for ends.
- I want a refund.
- Refunds are handled entirely by Apple at
reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to issue
one, even when we would like to.
- The paywall says prices are unavailable.
- The App Store could not be reached. Check your connection and try again in a minute. Nothing
is charged and nothing is lost.
- What happens to my files if my subscription lapses?
- Nothing. Files you have already converted and history entries already recorded are never
deleted, hidden or locked. Only future access to Pro-only actions changes.
Using the app
- Where do my converted photos go?
- Into the app's own Exports folder, and — if you choose to export them there — into your
Photos library as new items. Your originals are never modified. The app's copies are cleaned up
automatically after seven days, so save the ones you want to keep.
- The result is bigger than the size I asked for.
- It should not be. Sizera searches for the highest quality that fits under your
target, and if quality alone cannot get there it reduces the dimensions and tells you so before
converting. If you have a case where the output exceeds the target, that is a bug and we want the
file — write to us.
- My photo got smaller in pixels and I did not ask for that.
- You did see it, but it is easy to miss: when the target file size cannot be reached by
quality alone, the confirmation screen names the reduced dimensions before you tap Convert. It is
never silent. If you want the original dimensions kept no matter what, raise the target size.
- Why does it want access to my whole photo library?
- To let you browse and pick. Limited access — only the photos you select — works fine, and you
can change it any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos. Saving results back is a
separate permission you can grant or refuse independently.
- Can I convert to WebP?
- No, and no iPhone app can: iOS reads WebP but has no encoder for it. Sizera accepts WebP as
input and writes JPG, PNG, HEIC or TIFF.
- My animated GIF lost its animation.
- Only the first frame is converted. The app warns you before it happens — that warning is the
honest version of a limitation we cannot remove.
- The share extension does not appear in Photos.
- Tap Share → scroll the app row to the end → More, and enable Sizera. iOS
hides new extensions until you do this once.
- Does it work on iPad?
- It runs, but this version is designed for iPhone and will look like an iPhone app on an iPad.
We do not advertise it as universal because it is not.
- Is there a Mac or Android version?
- No, and none is planned right now.
Privacy
- Do my photos get uploaded anywhere?
- No. There is no server to upload them to. The app contains no analytics, no crash reporting,
no advertising network and no tracking identifier. The full statement is in the
privacy policy.
- How do I delete everything the app has stored?
- Delete the app. Everything it keeps — settings, presets, history, converted copies — lives
inside its own storage on your device and goes with it. There is nothing held anywhere else.
- Is my data backed up?
- If iCloud Backup is on, iOS includes the app's settings, presets and history in your personal
encrypted Apple backup, as it does for any app. Converted files are deliberately excluded, because
they are disposable. There is no sync between devices.
